What are the expected outcomes of the Around the World project?
Reading: Students will be researching multiple sources, both online and in print, that will allow them to learn about a city that they are taking a virtual trip to. Students will also explore a variety of literature and generes based on the location that they are visiting.
Writing: Students will be creating expository piece in order to demostrate what they have learned about their city. A persuasive piece will also be written by the students to persuade other students to want to visit the city that was just researched.
Math: Students will be able to uncrdstand converting currency and temperature. Students will also be able to report out distances(measurement) between cities. Student will keep a running account balance reflecting money spent on their trip, and earned.
